Christian Education Opportunities

Sunday School

  • Meets: 9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m. year-round
  • Ages: 3-7th grade

Lutherans At Work (L.A.W.)

  • Redeemer youth group (grades 8-12)
  • Group engages in bible study on Sun. mornings at 9:15 a.m.
  • Plans events throughout the year for fun, fellowship, service and Christian growth

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Class

  • Meets in church sanctuary at 9:15 a.m.
  • Same hour as Sunday School

Confirmation Classes

  • Meet: 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays from Sept.-May
  • For 5th-7th graders
  • Provides Christian training and fellowship in preparation for the 7th grade confirmation and first Communion

Adult Inquirer’s Class

  • Overview of Christian doctrine and the teachings of the Lutheran Church
  • Can lead to membership in Redeemer Lutheran church by adult confirmation
  • No obligation to join after class is completed
  • Duration: 6 consecutive weeks, once a week for 1-1.5 hours long
  • Contact Pastor if you are interested in the class

LifeLight Bible Study

  • Time: Wednesdays (fall and spring) 7pm
  • Participants study a topic using Bibles and workbooks
  • Home study is done each week and answers are shared in class and discussed
  • Each session concludes with refreshments

Summer Confessions Class

  • Time: Wednesdays (Summer) 6:30pm-8pm
  • Continual study of The Book of Concord
  • Graduate level theology in a relevant and easier to understand format
  • Participants learn about our Lutheran Heritage, history, and also what it means to be a "confessional" Lutheran Christian

Vacation Bible School

  • Convenes every summer for one week
  • Ages: 3-6th grade
  • Children in 7th grade or older serve as helpers on the staff
  • Activities include: Bible story each day, crafts, songs, outdoor activities & snacks
